About Sugar My Body

After several years of trying body scrubs that were far too oily for my skin, I started experimenting with my own recipes in hopes of creating a scrub that would give me the exfoliation and moisture I wanted but wouldn’t leave me feeling like an oil slick. After testing different oils, salts, sugars, and scents I finally achieved a product that felt and smelled great: my first scrub was a sugary lemonade scrub that’s still one of my favorites. I liked it so much and wanted to share it with my family and friends, so I started handing out samples! Before I knew it, I was getting requests for scents and quantities of my scrubs….and Sugar My Body was born. Now we produce small-batch, made-to-order sugar and salt scrubs, available at craft fairs in the Triad, as well as by order direct from us. (And in case you’re wondering, that sugary lemonade scrub is still one of our most-requested scrubs!)
